FAQ's


1) If I am not happy with my order what will you do about it?
We offer a no quibble return and refund or replace service. If you receive your beads and are not happy with them for whatever reason, contact us within 7 days and return them within 14 days of contacting us and we will refund you or replace them. When ordering please take note of measurements and even refer to a ruler so you can accurately picture the size of bead in your head, I understand how disappointing a size of bead can be if miscalculated.


2) What are your shipping charges?
£1.50 covers handling fee, first class shipping and packaging to anywhere in the UK and if you order £30 or over worth of beads, shipping is entirely free. Each package will come wrapped in tissue paper in a padded envelope and zippy bag for extra protection. Shipping anywhere abroad is £4 for any amount of beads ordered.


3) How long will my order take to get to me?
We post all orders either same- or next-day after the order is placed, so you will usually receive your beads within 24 - 72 hours.


4) Are all your beads genuine gemstone?
All beads are purchased from reputable sellers and are 100% gemstone beads. Where beads have been dyed or mixed we will say so in the descriptions. We aim to keep our stock as natural as possible so you won't often see a dyed bead.


5) What's this PayPal / Google thing? and can I pay by Cheque?
You may of course pay by cheque, we will process your order as soon as the cheque has cleared. When you select cheque payment via our site it will give you our address. PayPal / Google are highly recognised and secure methods of payment - your transaction is handled by PayPal/Google's secure servers meaning you have the piece of mind of one of the largest on-line companies behind your payment. When you pay through PayPal/Google Checkouts you will have to sign up for an account if you don't already have one. This will take only a minute and is well worth the effort as many other companies use them for taking online payments. Being PayPal/Google, you know you can trust your details with them.


6) How can I contact you if I need to ask a question?
The best way to contact us is through the contact form. We check our emails regularly through the day and will get back to you as soon as possible.

Alternatively you may phone us on (01722) 777 222. Until the middle of October we will not be able to accept credit or debit card payments over the phone, but would be happy to assist you with any other enquiries you may have.


7) What if you run out of stock of an item I want?
We keep our site very up to date and will let you know as soon as the item is back in stock. If an item is out of stock on your order due to unforeseen circumstances; we will fully refund you or you can swap it for another item.


8) I have something very specific in mind that you don't stock, do you accept requests?
We would love to hear what you're on the lookout for and will do our very best to stock what it is you want.


9) I love your beads but don't make jewellery, do you do commissions?
We would be delighted to. We only use the best sterling silver findings and quality beads for our jewellery. Let us know what you are thinking of via email and we will let you know if it's possible.
